Here’s another completely fresh trailer for the upcoming Identity Thief comedy which is set to open this February. Starring Jason Bateman and Melissa McCarthy in the leading roles, the movie guarantees a lot of weird action. But there’s nothing to be surprised about, ’cause as you already know – the whole thing comes from Horrible Bosses director Seth Gordon. Check out the rest of this report to see the video and let us know what you think!
Directed by Gordon, and written by Steve Conrad and Craig Mazin, the movie follows a regular guy who is forced to extreme measures to clear his name. Why? Well, because his identity is stolen!
Unlimited funds have allowed Diana to live it up on the outskirts of Miami, where the queen of retail buys whatever strikes her fancy. There’s only one glitch: The ID she’s using to finance these sprees reads “Sandy Bigelow Patterson”… and it belongs to an accounts rep who lives halfway across the U.S. With only one week to hunt down the con artist before his world implodes, the real Sandy Bigelow Patterson heads south to confront the woman with an all-access pass to his life. And as he attempts to bribe, coax and wrangle the 2,000 miles to Denver, one easy target will discover just how tough it is to get your name back.
Identity Thief stars Jason Bateman, Melissa McCarthy, Jon Favreau, Amanda Peet, Genesis Rodriguez, Morris Chestnut, John Cho, Robert Patrick and Eric Stonestreet, and is set to open on February 8th, 2013.
