Harrison Ford Officially Joins Cast of ENDER’S GAME
No doubt, Harrison Ford is still far from retirement. After he recently signed on to play in Jackie Robinson biopic 42, now comes word that the Star Wars/Indiana Jones icon’s involvement in sci-fi adventure tentpole Ender’s Game has been officially confirmed.
The vet thesp joins a cast that includes Asa Butterfield (Hugo) Abigal Breslin (Little Miss Sunshine) and Hailee Steinfeld (True Grit).

Hi guys, Krishna Pandit Bhanji a.k.a. Sir Ben Kingsley is in talks to join Odd Lot’s epic adaptation of Orson Scott Card’s classic SF novel Ender’s Game.
No doubt Hugo stars are pretty busy these days. After the role of Andrew ‘Ender’ Wiggin has been offered to 14-year-old Asa Butterfield, Gavin Hood has now cast Ben Kingsley to star in the sci-fi film alongside young lead.

I’m sure fans of the book will agree that big screen adaptation of the Orson Scott Card’s sci-fi classic Ender’s Game provides challenging roles for experienced actors. Asa Butterfield qualifies because he has been a performance artist for over half of his life, despite the fact that he is only 14.
Another contender is a little bit older – none other than favorite Harrison Ford is reportedly being eyed for the role of Colonel Hyrum Graff, the aging Commander of Training for the International Fleet, the Battle School that young Ender attends.
Gavin Hood Will Direct His Ender’s Game Script for Summit Entertainment
Ok, no surprise here! X-Men Origins: Wolverine helmer, Gavin Hood, will be in charge for the upcoming live-action adaptation of Orson Scott Card‘s 1985 novel titled Ender’s Game.
By the way, Hood is in charge for the script as well and today we finally learned that he will direct this project for Summit Entertainment. Mystery solved!
So now when we know most of the details, let’s continue with our little chat about this one. First of all, Summit Entertainment studio has acquired U.S. rights to the film which is expected to go into production by early next year. Then, ‘Star Trek’ superproducers Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci are producing together with Gigi Pritzker and Linda McDonough of OddLot Entertainment.
Kurtzman and Orci to Produce Adaptation of Ender’s Game
Alex Kurtzman and Bob Orci, the screenwriting/producing duo behind Star Trek and Cowboys and Aliens, are working on the film version of Orson Scott Card’s science fiction novel Ender’s Game.
As you already know from some previous reports, the movie will be directed by X-Men Origins: Wolverine helmer Gavin Hood.
Orci tweeted:
“Ender’s Game! Us (K/O), Oddlot, and Gavin Hood taking his amazing script to the town! Who wants some?”
We’re interested! Odd Lot Entertainment is producing and Gavin Hood came on to direct and rewrite the script, which needed some extensive polishing because Orson Scott Card has said that he wants a “film where the human relationships are absolutely essential an honestpresentation of the story” and won’t let it get made unless that’s the case.

As we know, an unfinished workprint of “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” somehow leaked onto the web. But watching the trailers, clips and TV spots I think the movie is worth watching and I hope it will have great success with secret endings or without them.

According to HitFix, workprint of “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” has allegedly leaked online.
The movie won’t hit theaters until May 1st, 2009 and bad news for 20th Century Fox, people can now watch the workprint on several kinds of websites out there.
The bootleg is purportedly a DVD quality video of the Fox blockbuster without a timecode or studio watermark, but with several visual effects shots unfinished.

Leading up to the events of “X-Men,” the new spin-off movie tells the story of Wolverine’s epically violent and romantic past, his complex relationship with Victor Creed, and the ominous Weapon X program. Along the way, Wolverine encounters many mutants, both familiar and new, including surprise appearances by several legends of the X-Men universe.
