Madonna In New Moon!?

New “New Moon” rumor, according to Oh No They Didn’t, which cited “Ryan on E! News,” is that Madonna might be somehow involved in the upcoming sequel of “Twilight.”

The site stated that it wasn’t sure if Madonna would appear in the film as an actress or if she would do a song on the soundtrack, but

it’s most likely she’ll both appear in the film and do the soundtrack.

Chris Weitz will direct “Twilight” sequel, “New Moon” from the script by Melissa Rosenberg (“Twilight” screenwriter) which stars Robert Pattison, Kristen Stewart and Madonna, maybe?

Madonna’s manager, Guy Oseary, is a producer on the project “New Moon” so there’s a rumor!

Summit Entertainment are said to have no plan in casting Madonna in “New Moon,” but she might – might just possibly – contribute to the sequel’s soundtrack.

Still, it should be noted that no deals have been made.

Madonna’s “Filth and Wisdom” Trailer

Madonna’s directorial debut “Filth and Wisdom” follows three oddball flatmates in London chasing dreams of fame and fulfillment while doing unsavory jobs to make ends meet.

Its main character, A.K., is played by Ukrainian Eugene Hutz, and the music from his real-life punk band Gogol Bordello is used extensively throughout.

Madonna told the basic point of the story was to explore the “duality” of life, between “light and dark,” “right and wrong,” and that the filth and wisdom of the title were not so very far apart.

Madonna planned to make more movies in the future, and she is unlikely to be too bothered by what the critics say.

“Filth and Wisdom” had its world premiere at the Berlin Film Festival earlier this year.
The movie is scheduled to hit US theaters on October 17th, 2008 in limited release.

Madonna To Remake ‘Casablanca’!?

There are rumours that a ‘Casablanca’ remake could well be on the cards and it could fall in the hands of Madonna!?

According to The Daily Mail, a major Hollywood studio has been approached by the lass to give a modern uptake on what is thought by many as the greatest film ever made and setting the film in modern day Iraq with Madonna taking Ingrid Bergman’s role.

Just a rumour!? Please, say YES!

“Madonna is talking about taking the Ingrid Bergman role for herself, even though Bergman was in her 20s when she played Ilsa and Madonna is nearly 50…She wants to update the story and maybe set it in a modern war zone such as Iraq. There is no script yet…Madonna and her people are testing the waters to see if this is the right vehicle for her and if a major studio will get behind the project.”

Madonna’s Movie To Be Released Online

Madonna has revealed that she plans to release her directorial debut Filth And Wisdom online.The singer is in talks with iTunes to make the low-budget comedy available as an internet download to reach as large an audience as possible.

She is quoted by WENN as saying: “I’m a beginner so I think I should start off in an understated way. Just because I’m established in one field doesn’t mean that’s how I should approach anything else I do.

“I’ve been speaking to iTunes about releasing it through them. I want the most amount of people to see the film as possible. I don’t do anything conventionally.”

Filth And Wisdom tells the story of a Ukranian musician who shares a flat in London with two other misfits and pays his way by moonlighting as a dominatrix.
