Two Red Movie Posters
Summit Entertainment has debuted two brand new posters for Red, the adaptation of the DC Comics graphic novel by Warren Ellis and Cully Hammer.
Frank (Bruce Willis), Joe (Morgan Freeman), Marvin (John Malkovich) and Victoria (Helen Mirren) used to be the CIA’s top agents – but the secrets they know just made them the Agency’s top targets. John Malkovich Joins “Red”
John Malkovich has replaced John C. Reilly in the adaptation of Wildstorm/DC Comics’ miniseries “Red.”
Malkovich joining a cast that includes Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, Helen Mirren, Mary-Louise Parker, Julian McMahon, Ernest Borgnine, Richard Dreyfuss, Brian Cox and James Remar.
“Red” is the tale of a retired black-ops agent (Willis) who must contend with younger, more high-tech assassins who show up to kill him. Malkovich will be play a contemporary of Willis’ who joins in his plan to kills those sent to kill him.
Helen Mirren Joins “Red”
Helen Mirren has joined the cast of “Red,” big screen adaptation of the WildStorm/DC Comics book.
The movie will also star Bruce Willis and Morgan Freeman.
The “Red” comic book was written by noted author Warren Ellis and illustrated by Cully Hamner.
It focuses on Paul Moses, a retired CIA operative that is forced back into the espionage game after he is betrayed by the government he had dedicated his life to protect.
Morgan Freeman To Star In RED
Morgan Freeman might be starring alongside Bruce Willis in Summit Entertainment’s espionage thriller “Red.” The film is based on the WildStorm/DC Comic written by Warren Ellis and illustrated by Cully Hamner.
It was a three-issue miniseries that was published in 2003 and 2004. It centers on a former black-ops CIA agent who is now living a quiet life in retirement. Things change when a high-tech assassin appears on the scene with every intention of killing him. With his secret identity compromised and his love interest in danger, the man must reassemble his old team to figure out who is out to get them.
