THE LORAX Movie Poster
Universal Pictures has debuted the first poster for The Lorax. The animated adventure, which is slated to open March 2nd, 2012, is directed by Chris Renaud and Kyle Balda. It’s the second Seuss adapation for Illumination founder Chris Meledandri, who previously produced Horton Hears a Who! while running 20th Century Fox Animation.
The film is an adaptation of Dr. Seuss’ classic tale of a forest creature who shares the enduring power of hope and film follows Ted, an idealistic young boy, who tries to find the one thing that will win him affection of the girl of his dreams. To do so, he must discover the story of the Lorax, the grumpy yet charming creature who fights to protect his world.
Danny DeVito voices the Lorax, and Zac Efron, Taylor Swift, Ed Helms and Betty White provide additional voices.
The Lorax will be in theaters everywhere on March 2nd, 2012.
