New Les Miserables posters are here! We finally have a chance to see Anne Hathaway as Fantine and Amanda Seyfried as Cosette! Right after Hugh Jackman and Russell Crowe – time for the female part of the cast to show up! Fantine says: I dreamed a dream, while Cosette adds: heart full of love. Whatever, girls, the most important thing is that you both look awesome!
So, you're at the boring part of the report now, because I'm here to remind you that Les Miserables comes from director Tom Hooper, and that the rest of the cast also includes Eddie Redmayne, Aaron Tveit, Samantha Barks, Helena Bonham Carter and Sacha Baron Cohen.
The film is set against the backdrop of 19th-century France, and tells an enthralling story of broken dreams and unrequited love, passion, sacrifice and redemption.
The story centers on Jackman's character, ex-prisoner Jean Valjean, hunted for decades by the ruthless policeman Javert after he breaks parole. When Valjean agrees to care for factory worker Fantine's young daughter, Cosette, their lives change forever.
Universal Pictures will release Les Miserables on December 25th, 2012.
