gangster-report, ’cause let’s face it – we already shared every single detail about this project, right?
Not so fast… today we’re here to add three completely new featurettes and one (20 minutes long) behind-the-scenes video! What can I tell you guys – enjoy & as usual, let us know what you think!
Ruben Fleischer directed the movie from a
Will Beall‘s script which centers on LAPD detectives who are attempting to keep Los Angeles free of gangsters during the 1940s and ’50s.
In other words, the movie is a story of six police officers and detectives who must protect the law by breaking it, taking on Brooklyn-born mob king Mickey Cohen and his gang.

Ruthless, Brooklyn-born mob king Mickey Cohen runs the show in this town, reaping the ill-gotten gains from the drugs, the guns, the prostitutes and–if he has his way–every wire bet placed west of Chicago. And he does it all with the protection of not only his own paid goons, but also the police and the politicians who are under his control. It’s enough to intimidate even the bravest, street-hardened cop…except, perhaps, for the small, secret crew of LAPD outsiders led by Sgt. John O’Mara and Jerry Wooters, who come together to try to tear Cohen’s world apart.
