Hey guys, check out the latest international (read: Japanese) trailer for 47 Ronin, 'cause this definitely looks awesome! Ok, it's a pretty short video, but as you're about to see – Keanu Reeves and his band of samurai are more than ready to avenge the death and dishonor of their master. This Christmas, it's time to seize eternity, head inside to see some real action!
As we previously reported, director Carl Rinsch stands behind this explosive action-adventure, which follows a real-life group of samurai in 18th-century Japan who avenge the murder of their master.
In other words, Reeves stars as an outcast named Kai who joins a group of Ronin, and together they embark on a journey whose challenges would defeat most warriors. But, as you already had a chance to see from the first trailer for the movie – there's no coming back!

Here's the official synopsis:
After a treacherous warlord kills their master and banishes their kind, 47 leaderless samurai vow to seek vengeance and restore honor to their people. Driven from their homes and dispersed across the land, this band of Ronin must seek the help of Kai, a half-breed they once rejected, as they fight their way across a savage world of mythic beasts, shape-shifting witchcraft and wondrous terrors. As this exiled, enslaved outcast becomes their most deadly weapon, he will transform into the hero who inspires this band of outnumbered rebels to seize eternity.
Beside Reeves, the rest of 47 Ronin cast includes Rinko Kikuchi, Hiroyuki Sanada, Ko Shibasaki and Tadanobu Asano, and the movie is set to hit theaters on December 25th, 2013.
