The List Of Trailers That Will Be Shown During Super Bowl XLVII This Sunday!

Super Bowl XLVII
Super Bowl XLVII Super Bowl Week, huh? Football fans will enjoy the game, Beyonce's fans will enjoy the show, and what about movie fans? Well, we have our own fun – trailers! And that's exactly why we're here today – to share the list of movie trailers (spots, ads, commercials, whatever) that will be shown during Sunday's matchup. Check it out! CBS' Super Bowl XLVII broadcast will see new ads from Universal, Disney and Paramount before and during the matchup. In other words – these movie studios had $4 million for a 30 second spot. So here we go: Disney is giving us a look at Oz: The Great and Powerful, then we'll also have a chance to watch a 90-second spot for The Lone Ranger (we shared a short teaser earlier today) and a 60-second preview of Iron Man 3 as well. Way to go, Disney! Paramount, on the other hand, is running a 30 second spot for World War Z (yep, the movie with Brad Pitt and zombies) and a 30 second ad for the J.J. Abrams' directed Star Trek Into Darkness, during the second quarter of the game itself. As for Universal – things are pretty clear – the studio will air the first footage from Vin Diesel‘s Fast & Furious 6, but we also have some rumors that there might be a spot for Tom Cruise‘s upcoming Oblivion (read: might be!) So, no Riddick, Kick-Ass 2, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, The Wolverine, Evil Dead, Elysium…? Apparently not! As guys from Deadline reported, this year CBS raised the price for a 30 second ad up from the $3.5 million that NBC charged during the last Super Bowl to $4 million, which means that Warner Bros, the Weinstein Company, Sony and Fox didn't buy any ads this year. There's still some hope that Summit Entertainment will run a spot for the Dwayne Johnson‘s upcoming action-thriller Snitch, but nothing confirmed at this moment. Stay tuned for more updates!
