New Line Cinema have released the fifth poster for this March’s magic-themed comedy The Incredible Burt Wonderstone.
The new Abracatastic one-sheet features all three of the film’s masters of illusion: Burt Wonderstone (Steve Carell) and his magical partner Anton Marvelton (Steve Buscemi), along with a guerrilla street magician Steve Gray (Jim Carrey).
Directed by a prolific television director Don Scardino (30 Rock) the film will play in The South by Southwest film festival in Austin, Tex. on March 8th before opening in theaters March 15th, 2013.
The story follows the eponymous illusionist Wonderstone, a magician whose partner Marvelton leaves after Burt accidentally injures him on stage. When a flashy street magician Gray begins to overshadow him, Burt tries to get the old act back together to regain his status in the magic world.
Alan Arkin as Rance Holloway, the magician who first inspired Burt; Olivia Wilde as the female lead; James Gandolfini, Brad Garrett, Gillian Jacobs and Jay Mohr also star.
Chad Kultgen (The Average American Male) wrote early drafts of the screenplay, while rewrites were carried out by John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein (Horrible Bosses).
