Watch: First Clip From OZ THE GREAT AND POWERFUL

Oz the Great and Powerful-Clip
Oz the Great and Powerful-Clip If you didn't get a chance to watch Disney's Oz the Great and Powerful, which premiered at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood Wednesday, you have to wait until March 8th, 2013 to see this in theaters. However, a new sneak peek has hit the web featuring Rachel Weisz as the witch Evanora and her on-screen sister Theodora (Mila Kunis). If the film is half as good as what the early buzz indicates, it's worth checking out. Meanwhile, Oscar-winning Weisz came on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live‘ to promote Sam Raimi‘s 3D prequel and she brought with her the first clip from the film. In the new footage, the witch Evanora is engaged in a heated discussion with fellow witch Theadora. Actually, they conflict over the arrival of a Kansas magician (James Franco) who just landed in Oz, and the building tension forces Theadora to tap into her wicked side. Bearing that in mind, it's obvious to say that Disney is no longer trying to cover up which of these sorceresses will become the infamous Wicked Witch of the West. Michelle Williams, Joey King, Bruce Campbell and Zach Braff also star in the March 8th release. Check out the first clip below, courtesy of ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live': http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=SbnVktYaIhM
Disney's fantastical adventure “Oz The Great and Powerful,” directed by Sam Raimi, imagines the origins of L. Frank Baum's beloved character, the Wizard of Oz. When Oscar Diggs (James Franco), a small-time circus magician with dubious ethics, is hurled away from dusty Kansas to the vibrant Land of Oz, he thinks he's hit the jackpot–fame and fortune are his for the taking–that is until he meets three witches, Theodora (Mila Kunis), Evanora (Rachel Weisz) and Glinda (Michelle Williams), who are not convinced he is the great wizard everyone's been expecting. Reluctantly drawn into the epic problems facing the Land of Oz and its inhabitants, Oscar must find out who is good and who is evil before it is too late. Putting his magical arts to use through illusion, ingenuity–and even a bit of wizardry–Oscar transforms himself not only into the great and powerful Wizard of Oz but into a better man as well.

It seems Rachel Weisz gave it away in the interview already.
