At the center of the story is The Mighty Thor, a powerful but arrogant warrior whose reckless actions reignite an ancient war. A black Norse god? Give me a flippin’ break. No, I will not be watching this garbage.

If you can find me where in the texts that Loki is Odin’s son rather than blood brother we can worry about being “historically” accurate to the original myths.

In Marvel, the Norse Gods are basically superadvanced aliens with a strong mixture of magic (which is simply a force not yet understood by science).

Why there WOULDN’T be a black (or green for that matter) one is the bigger question.

I will defiantly be boycotting this politically correct mess of a movie. A negro playing Heimdall ….. Enough is enough! What’s next a black Hobbit, oh wait I just read that leftist Hollywood is pushing for a more “diverse” cast in that upcoming film. Keep your hooked noses out of Norse mythology and European fables…………..

Quit being so fricking racist. The Asgardians of Marvel are NOT the same ones from Norse mythology.
They go through cycles of Ragnarok and rebirth. A black asgardian in this universe is only a problem if you’re a bigot!
