MTV got their hands on these wicked new TV Spots from the upcoming remake of Wes Craven‘s classic horror film A Nightmare On Elm Street starring Jackie Earle Haley.
Similar to the original story, in this film Freddy Krueger is hunted down by the parents of a small town and burned alive for his heinous crimes against children. As his final act of revenge he decides to continue his killing spree but inside the subconscious of kids where no one can save them.
The film directed by Samuel Bayer (Fiasco Heights) co-stars Kellan Lutz (The Twilight Saga: New Moon), Thomas Dekker (Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Laid to Rest), Kyle Gallner, Rooney Mara, Clancy Brown and Connie Britton.
A Nightmare on Elm Street will hit theaters April 30, 2010.
