Are we all interested in ABC's upcoming
Lucky 7 just because
Steven Spielberg is executive producing the show? Well, not exactly.
The story sounds pretty cool, too. Especially if you play the lottery every week. Intrigued already? Hope you are, we have the first official trailer for the whole thing, head inside to check it out…
In case you're not so familiar with Lucky 7, let us first inform you that director
Paul McGuigan stands behind the project which is based on the British TV show
The Syndicate, created by Kay Mellor.
It revolves around a group of seven gas station employees in Queens, New York, who play the lottery every week and dream about what they would do with the winnings. When they do finally hit the jackpot, the coworkers learn that money may solve some problems, but it creates new ones.
These gas station employees are
Matt Long, Stephen Louis Grush, Isiah Whitlock Jr., Summer Bishil, Anastasia Phillips, Christine Evangelista, Lorraine Bruce, and
Luis Antonio Ramos. Money could solve problems for each of them, right?
We'll see about that pretty soon, because the show will air on ABC on Tuesday nights at 10 pm starting in the fall of 2013.
As we mentioned at the beginning, Lucky 7 is executive-produced by Steven Spielberg, Darryl Frank, Justin Falvey, David Zabel and Jason Richman.
Let us know what you think about the trailer and stay tuned for more updates!

This has everything going against it: It is a Spielberg production, meaning yawning at the screen will be involved and it’s a remake.
Pass.
