Ad for Crunchyroll’s CUTICLE DETECTIVE INABA TV Anime

Cuticle Detective Inaba The media distribution service Crunchyroll announced on Wednesday that it will stream the Cuticle Detective Inaba television anime series. The series will stream on Fridays, starting on January 4th, 2013 at 10:00 p.m. EST. The series will be available for members in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, the Netherlands, and Scandinavia. Yes, I know, it’s kinda (ok, more than ‘kinda’) silly name, but the plot seems interesting enough. The anime adaptation of Mochi’s manga tells the story of Hiroshi Inaba, a part-man, part-wolf, former ‘secret doberman’ who begins his own detective agency. The anime has also premiered on January 4th, 2013 in Japan, and the manga is currently running in Square Enix’s G Fantasy magazine. The show stars Junichi Suwabe as Hiroshi Inaba and Toru Okawa as Don Valentino. Other cast members include Nobuhiko Okamoto, Yumi Shimura, Rina Hidaka, Miyu Irino, Asami Shimoda, Toshiyuki Morikawa, Juurouta Kosugi, Yōko Hikasa, Tomokazu Sugita, Asami Seto, Yuiko Tatsumi, Kousuke Toriumi, Ai Fukuda and Mitsuki Saiga. Suwabe will perform the opening theme song ‘Haruka, Nichijō no Naka de’ (Faraway, In the Daily Life), and Okawa will perform the ending theme ‘Prima Stella’. Susumu Mitsunaka (episode director for Bunny Drop, Yondemasu yo, Azazel-san) is directing the series at studio ZEXCS. Makoto Nakamura (Starry Sky) is handling the series composition, and Satoshi Koike (Senki Zesshō Symphogear) is there as both character designer and chief animation director. You can take a look at this ad for the anime, which appeared on January 1st, and tell us what you think (or your opinion on the episode, if you’ve seen it):
