First they were The Grandmothers, then Two Mothers, and now – simply Adore. You already know that we’re talking about Anne Fontaine‘s upcoming drama which is (finally) set to hit theaters this September, right? In case you’ve missed our previous reports, we definitely recommend you to check out the official trailer and another international trailer for the movie which, beside the above mentioned ladies, also stars Xavier Samuel, James Frechevile and Ben Mendelsohn.
As you probably remember, Fontaine directed the movie from a script writen by Christopher Hampton, which explores the intricacies of love, family, morality and passion, and revolves around two lifelong friends who find unexpected happiness in relationships that cross the bounds of convention.
In other words – Watts and Wright star as two friends who unexpectedly fall in love with each other’s sons, and must deal with the ramifications of their actions as their respective relationships progress over an extended period of time.
So, get ready for the complex emotions and powerful desires, ’cause as we said – Adore opens in limited theaters on September 6th, 2013.
