After the
new domestic poster, we've seen the thrilling
second trailer for
M. Night Shyamalan‘s post-apocalyptic sci-fi, and now Sony Pictures Indonesia has unveiled a new international poster for the upcoming sci-fi thriller
After Earth.
As you already know Shyamalan directed the sci-fi adventure flick from a script he wrote with
Gary Whitta (The Book of Eli) and
Stephen Gaghan (Traffic, Syriana), which centers on a legendary General Cypher Raige played by
Will Smith and his son Kitai, played by
Jaden Smith, who embark on a perilous journey in order to return to Nova Prime.
Formerly titled 1000 A.E., the film is set 1,000 years into a future where humans no longer live on Earth after it becomes inhospitable.
Zoe Kravitz and
Sophie Okonedo are also on board, playing Will Smith's daughter and wife respectively.
After Earth opens on June 7th, 2013.

In After Earth, one thousand years after cataclysmic events forced humanity's escape from Earth, Nova Prime has become mankind's new home. Legendary General Cypher Raige (played by Will Smith) returns from an extended tour of duty to his estranged family, ready to be a father to his 13-year-old son, Kitai (played by Jaden Smith). When an asteroid storm damages Cypher and Kitai's craft, they crash-land on a now unfamiliar and dangerous Earth. As his father lies dying in the cockpit, Kitai must trek across the hostile terrain to recover their rescue beacon. His whole life, Kitai has wanted nothing more than to be a soldier like his father. Today, he gets his chance.
