We already had a little chat about the upcoming action thriller
Cali, so by now you know that
Kristen Stewart is on board to star as the lead in the whole thing.
Today, comes the word that
Alex Pettyfer in some serious negotiations to join her. Which is not bad actually, because
Nick Cassavetes directed movie definitely sounds like an interesting love story. But, with some action as well…
So, the movie will center on a pair of San Fernando Valley lovebirds, played by above mentioned duo, who sell a fake snuff film and ride off with a bundle of cash. Years later, Stewart’s character must “return from the dead” to save the younger sister she left behind.
What’s also interesting about Cali is that Stewart will make her productorial debut on the project, together with Craig J. Flores and Zev Foreman who will produce for Voltage. Brian Levy of New School Media will exec produce the project, and production is scheduled to start later this summer.
