Here we are for that American Bullshit project once again. Ok, this title is not actually an official one at the moment, but at least we have another great name on board for the whole thing.
Apparently, Amy Adams is now attached to star as the female lead in the upcoming David O. Russell‘s movie which will (possibly) also star Bradley Cooper and Jeremy Renner.
As we previously reported, Eric Warren Singer is responsible for the script, and the movie is based on the true story of a notorious financial con artist and his mistress who were forced to work with an intense and ambitious FBI agent to turn the tables on other con artists, mobsters and politicians.
So far we know that Bradley Cooper is still in talks to play the con artist named Mel Weinberg, while Jeremy Renner should come on board to play that FBI agent named Jimmy Boyle. As for Adams, she's set to play Cooper's partner and mistress.
Production on O. Russell's movie starts in February, and as usual – we'll keep an eye on it.
