Andrew Garfield Boards Indie Drama 99 HOMES
Spidey is about to lose his home! We've just learned that Andrew Garfield is set to star in an upcoming indie drama titled 99 Homes, which comes from writer/director Ramin Bahrani (Man Push Cart). The Amazing Spider-Man star comes on board to play a man who loses his home to foreclosure. Sounds interesting enough?
Wait, there's more! THR adds that desperate Garfield then finds work with the real estate broker who took his house and soon is not only evicting homeowners but helping the man embezzle money from the government.
Still, there's a little catch: while his financial worries disappear, his conscience begins to break him down…
Say what you want, but this doesn't sound bad at all. Hope we'll soon find out who will come on board to play the above mentioned manipulative broker.
In the meanwhile, let us also add that Kevin Turen and Justin Nappi of Treehouse Pictures are producing the project, and as usual – with every new update – we'll be back, so make sure you stay tuned!
