Anthony Hopkins and Judi Dench in Kenneth Branagh’s ITALIAN SHOES?
Well, here's something interesting guys. In case you miss Kenneth Branagh and his movies you'll be glad to hear he's now attached to direct a project titled Italian Shoes which will start shooting toward the end of next year or in 2013.
And that, my dear friends, depends on when Anthony Hopkins and Judi Dench will be available to join the whole thing as well!
Exactly! Both Hopkins and Dench are in talks to join Italian Shoes which is based on the Henning Mankell‘s novel, with a script by Richard Cottan.
At this moment not much is known about the story except that it will follow a retired surgeon living on a remote island in Sweden who is forced to confront his past mistakes when he's reunited with an old flame.
In an interview with Variety, Branagh revealed that this project is “tailor-made” for Hopkins and Dench and has been developed with them in mind.
“The nuance, delicacy and flavor is so based on the perfect casting,” Branagh said and added: “Their casting takes advantage of my long relationship with the pair of them.”
We're definitely interested in everything that has to do with Hopkins and Dench so we'll definitely keep an eye on Italian Shoes. Make sure you stay tuned!
