BATMAN VS. SUPERMAN – Comedian Pete Holmes Version
Comedian Pete Holmes is heading into the DC Comics universe with this brand new teaser that debuted at ‘The Pete Holmes Show' panel at last weekend's New York Comic Con, and now it's online in full.
One of the completely-true facts we've just learned from the newest Batman parody (Holmes has taken on Batman several times before for ‘College Humor') is that Superman based his alter ego Clark Kent on the movie Newsies. Moreover, in his Batman vs. Superman, Superman may have superhuman strength and X-ray vision, but he's no match for Batman's quickness.
‘The Pete Holmes Show‘ is set to take the time slot after Conan O'Brien's show on October 28th.
Check it out below to see cool guy Batman start an argument with lamewad Superman, with jokes like ‘Hope starts with an ‘H', stupid' along with a funnier sketch from earlier this week – ‘Ex-Men: Wolverine' in which Holmes takes on the role of Professor X as he fires Wolverine for being ‘completely useless'.
There are 8 more sketches featuring Professor X meeting with some of the other team members on Holmes' new show.
