Apple TV+ is once again capturing our imaginations with its upcoming series Before, a psychological thriller that masterfully blends suspense and supernatural elements. Starring the legendary Billy Crystal, known for his versatile talents in comedy and drama, the show marks a significant return to television for the multi-award-winning actor. Crystal, who also serves as an executive producer, plays Eli, a child psychiatrist grappling with the recent loss of his wife, Lynn, portrayed by the illustrious Judith Light.

The series, set to premiere its first two episodes globally on October 25, introduces viewers to Eli's encounter with a troubled young boy named Noah (played by Jacobi Jupe). Noah's unsettling connection to Eli's past sets the stage for a gripping narrative that intertwines personal loss and supernatural intrigue. As the story unfolds, Eli's quest to help Noah not only uncovers secrets from the past but also delves into the complexities of human emotions and relationships.

Before boasts an impressive roster of talent both in front of and behind the camera. Alongside Crystal and Light, the cast includes multi-Emmy and Tony Award-winner Judith Light (Transparent), Jacobi Jupe (Peter Pan & Wendy), Oscar Award-nominee Rosie Perez (The Flight Attendant), Tony Award-nominee Maria Dizzia (Orange Is the New Black), and rising star Ava Lalezarzadeh (In the Garden of Tulips).

The creative team is equally noteworthy, with Sarah Thorp (The Bounty Hunter) at the helm as creator, showrunner, writer, and executive producer. She is joined by Crystal, Oscar-winning producer Eric Roth (Killers of the Flower Moon, Dune), and renowned directors Adam Bernstein (Silo, Billions) and Jet Wilkinson (The Chi, Truth Be Told).

With a stellar cast and crew, Before promises to be a must-watch for fans of psychological thrillers. The series will release new episodes every Friday, culminating in a season finale on December 20. Make sure to tune in and experience this atmospheric and character-driven tale that explores the depths of human connection and the mysteries that lie beyond.
