Bradley Cooper In Talks To Star In Cameron Crowe’s Untitled Film
Bradley Cooper, who has just picked up the best actor prize at the 16th annual Hollywood Film Awards for his role in Silver Lining Playbook is being sought after to star opposite Emma Stone in an untitled project to be directed by Oscar winner Cameron Crowe.
The film was first announced in 2008 as a romantic comedy called Deep Tiki, with Ben Stiller and Reese Witherspoon attached, but scheduling conflicts pushed the project into forgetfulness.
Deadline reports that The Hangover star hasn't inked a final deal yet, but prospects look good.
The untitled project has been rewritten by Crowe. There are no details on the plot yet, but the previous version of the story revolves around the male lead, a disgraced military weapons consultant who, after being deployed to a dormant base in Hawaii to supervise the launch of a spy satellite, ‘starts to discover himself and the relationships he left behind against the backdrop of mythical island lore and Cold War-esque diplomacy.'
The filming is expected to begin in the spring of 2013.
Cooper has now wrapped production on The Hangover Part III, set for release on May 24th, 2013 and will next be seen in The Place Beyond the Pines. He's also reuniting with Jennifer Lawrence in Serena.
Don't you think ‘Cooper + Stone + Crowe' could be a winning combination?
