“9” Poster For Shane Acker’s Original Short

Fiona June 7, 2024 1 comment

Today we have an old one poster which was created for Shane Acker's original short film “9” that Focus' full-length film with the same name is based on.

If you haven't seen the Acker's Academy Award-nominated 2005 short “9″, check it out here.

The full-length “9” movie directed and written by Shane Acker (Corpse Bride, Monster House) with co-writer Pamela Pettler (Corpse Bride, Monster House) is produced by Tim Burton and Timur Bekmambetov (Wanted).

Once upon a time, the human race learned to create intelligent war machines. The machines that a scientist has created rebelled and began to manufacture an army to wipe out humanity. So, before his death a wise scientist creates a group of 9 rag dolls putting into them his own soul, and they survived the destruction. The Scientist transferred his life force into them via an invention.

“9″ arrives in the movie theaters September 9th, 2009.
