Brand New ON THE ROAD Poster
Check out the just released brand new poster for Kristen Stewart‘s upcoming film, On The Road!
The film, adapted from the classic novel by Jack Kerouac, also stars Kirsten Dunst, Amy Adams, Viggo Mortensen, Elisabeth Moss, Terrence Howard, Steve Buscemi, Sam Riley and Garrett Hedlund.
Since it was first published in 1957, Kerouac’s famously influential novel has sold over 10 million copies, but has never previously been filmed.
Here’s the synopsis for On The Road:
After his father’s death, Sal Paradise (Sam Riley), an aspiring New York writer, meets Dean Moriarty (Garrett Hedlund), a devastatingly charming ex-con, married to the very liberated and seductive Marylou (Kristen Stewart). Sal and Dean bond instantly. Determined not to get locked in to a constricted life, the two friends cut their ties and take to the road with Marylou. Thirsting for liberty, the three young people head off in search of the world, of other encounters, and of themselves.On the Road, directed by Walter Salles (The Motorcycle Diaries, Dark Water), and written by Jose Rivera will hit limited theaters in the U.S. on December 21st, 2012.
