Joe Russo sequel picks-up where Marvel’s
The Avengers left off, as Steve Rogers/Captain America (
Chris Evans) struggles to embrace his role in the modern world and teams up with Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow, (Johansson) to battle a powerful yet shadowy enemy in present-day Washington, D.C.
Captain America 2 co-stars
Sebastian Stan as mysterious Winter Soldier along with
Cobie Smulders, Georges St-Pierre, Frank Grillo, Hayley Atwell, Toby Jones, Emily VanCamp, Maximiliano Hernández and
Robert Redford.
Based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series, first published in 1941, an upcoming superhero film is scheduled to be released on April 4th, 2014 in 2D and 3D.
