They Came Together – remember this one! Maybe it sounds like a perfect title for perverts, but it's actually a title of a romantic comedy which will have quite interesting cast on board.
The whole thing comes from Wet Hot American Summer director, David Wain, and at this moment his cast list includes Christopher Meloni, Paul Rudd, Amy Poehler, Cobie Smulders and Noureen DeWulf. See, I told you it looks interesting…
But what's definitely not interesting is that we still know nothing about the possible plot.
Ok, we do know that Wain wrote the script together with Michael Showalter, but beside that – everything else is quite a mystery, although the principal photography is set to begin this July.
And, yes, maybe this could help: director Wain calls the movie “a spoof-homage-deconstruction-love letter to Romantic Comedies.” Wow! Now, that's helpful (not!)!
As for the above mentioned cast, Meloni is on board to play a big, bad CEO (and who else?), who is, by the way Rudd' boss. Rudd's character is described as a big businessman threatening to engulf the little business of Amy Poehler. DeWulf, on the other hand, jumps in to play his assistant.
