I actually like when some actor out there decides to make a movie. That usually means that (again, usually very soon) we get some great behind-the-scenes images and videos.
And all that simply because – well, hey, once an actor – always an actor!
Keanu Reeves is not an exception.
The guy is already working on his directorial debut titled
Man of Tai Chi, and guess what – he's more than happy to share some fight scenes with all of us!
What definitely looks great about the whole thing is that, thanks to Reeves we have a chance to see how that advanced, robotically controlled camera system (a.k.a. The Bot & Dolly's Iris) actually works, and as you'll see, it really gives kind of powerful feeling. At least I really feel like they're beating the hell out of each other in there!
Another good thing about this project is that (now) director Reeves says he's hoping to showcase the hand-to-hand combat in a wholly different way, so we should all expect to see a lot of action. Or, as he described it:
“There's 18 fights. We've timed it out. It's about 40 minutes of fighting. I want to make a good, solid kung fu movie. Good story, good plot – but let's get some good kung fu going!”
I'm interested in this one. Yeah, definitely interested.
If you share my opinion – stay tuned for more updates!
