CLOUD ATLAS Photos: Tom Hanks and Halle Berry
Below we have the first photos from Cloud Atlas, the sprawling set of six stories co-directed by Andy and Lana Wachowski (the “Matrix” trilogy) and Tom Tykwer (Run Lola Run).
These two stills show off four characters, each just one of the many roles played by Tom Hanks, Halle Berry, Jim Broadbent, and Ben Whishaw. Additional cast include Susan Sarandon, Donna Bae, Hugh Grant, Keith David, and Hugo Weaving, all play multiple roles throughout the past, present and future.
The film, adapted from David Mitchell’s 2004 novel of the same name, follows several plots including a sci-fi chapter of a man (Hanks) who meets an emissary (Berry) from an advance society.
Cloud Atlas will be released in the US on October 26th, 2012.
