Action? Crime? Drama? Or, simply an action crime-drama which comes from director Ruben Fleischer and is set to open next month? Whatever, you already see we’re here to talk about the upcoming Gangster Squad movie, and today it’s time for another (extended) TV spot from the whole thing, which (as usual) promises a lot of action. In addition to this video, we also have (allow me to say – great) black & white view at your favourite actors, so what can I tell you folks – make sure you check them all out!
Written by Will Beall, and directed by Fleischer, this crime-film will tell us the story of LAPD Detectives who are attempting to keep Los Angeles free of gangsters during the ’40s and ’50s.
As you already know, Josh Brolin, Ryan Gosling, Nick Nolte, Robert Patrick, Michael Peña, Giovanni Ribisi, Anthony Mackie, Emma Stone and Sean Penn all star in Gangster Squad, and Warner Bros. Pictures will finally release the movie on January 11th, 2013.

Los Angeles, 1949. Ruthless, Brooklyn-born mob king Mickey Cohen (Penn) runs the show in this town, reaping the ill-gotten gains from the drugs, the guns, the prostitutes and-if he has his way-every wire bet placed west of Chicago. And he does it all with the protection of not only his own paid goons, but also the police and the politicians who are under his control. It’s enough to intimidate even the bravest, street-hardened cop…except, perhaps, for the small, secret crew of LAPD outsiders led by Sgt. John O’Mara (Brolin) and Jerry Wooters (Gosling), who come together to try to tear Cohen’s world apart. “The Gangster Squad” is a colorful retelling of events surrounding the LAPD’s efforts to take back their nascent city from one of the most dangerous mafia bosses of all time.
