‘Dead Sea’ Trailer: Dive into the New Horror Thriller That Will Keep You Afloat with Suspense

Get ready to be gripped by "Dead Sea," the latest horror thriller from Phil Volken. Stranded in the open sea, a young woman and her friends fight for survival against a sinister fishing vessel. Premiering July 26th, 2024, this film promises a chilling ride.

Do you like sitting at the edge of your seat while watching horror and suspense? If so, you may be interested in the upcoming feature film “Dead Sea”, which will be directed by Phil Volken. Initially launched under the title of ‘Flycatcher', this indie horror thriller is set to film and provide viewers with a high seas adventure with a horrific twist.

It focuses on Kaya played by Isabel Gravitt and her friends who find themselves adrift in the middle of the sea after an unfortunate jet ski mishap occurs with them. Near to resigning themselves to their fate, they are saved by the captain of a fishing trawler. But the couple gets a little too comfortable when they realize the horror of their life—the boat is an organ-harvesting operation. Kaya must now transcend fear to outsmart the captors and stay alive.

The cast includes Genneya Walton, Alexander Wraith, Dean Cameron, Garrett Wareing, Al Burke, Brian Silverman, and Koa Tom\. The story comes alive and that is due to the strong cast of characters, which only makes the good plot even better.

Phil Volken, known for his work on “Garbage” and “Extortion,” brings his distinct directorial style to “Dead Sea. ” The film is produced by a team of seasoned professionals: To the wonderful band Nicholas Davidoff, Cameron Fuller, Rick Montgomery, and Alina Shraybman and Volken himself. Together these elements guarantee a great movie which at the same time will be interesting and people will be eager to watch.

With its official debut scheduled for July 26, 2024, Dead Sea will be released in some theaters in different states in the US. To summarize the whole story, “Dead Sea” is an example of a horror movie that refers to the traditions of the genre while offering a new location and story.
