Yeah, I know – we deserve more than just 13 seconds from Divergent, but unfortunately that’s all we have. Not much of an action, but at least this new video gives us the very first look at Kate Winslet (I almost forgot she’s on board) aka the main antagonist in the movie – Jeanine Matthews! As usual, we will once again remind you that Divergent comes from director Neil Burger, and stars Shailene Woodley as a girl named Tris Prior who is warned she is Divergent, which means that she does not fit into any one group.
In case you forgot – we’re talking about a futuristic Chicago set story where people are divided into five factions based on their personalities. Here’s what it looks like:
But, the real action starts when Tris discovers a conspiracy to destroy all Divergents. Quite logically – she must find out what makes being Divergent so dangerous before it’s too late.
Beside Winslet and Woodley, the rest of Divergent cast includes Theo James, Ray Stevenson, Mekhi Phifer, Maggie Q, Jai Courtney, Miles Teller, Zoë Kravitz, Ansel Elgort, (and much more) and the movie is set to hit theaters on March 21st, 2014.
