We already shared the first trailer, poster(s) and clip from the upcoming American Mary movie. And you liked it, right? Ok then, today we have the first TV spot for the female-centric surgical horror-thriller which comes from Jen and Sylvia Soska, and we definitely recommend you to check it out, 'cause, well… appearances are everything, and this Mary is stylish, artful and darkly funny!
So, as we previously reported, the movie is both written and directed by the Soska Sisters, and centers on a medical student named Mary Mason, played by Katharine Isabelle, as she becomes increasingly broke and disenchanted.

The rest of the story goes like this:
…the allure of easy money sends Mary into the twilight world of body modification and underground surgeries where obsessed flesh artists will pay anything and go through any pain to get their unusual procedures done. But Mary soon finds that her new “profession” leaves more marks on her own psyche than on her freakish clientele.
Beside Isabelle, American Mary also stars Julia Maxwell, Antonio Cupo, Connor Stanhope, Paul Anthony, Paula Lindberg, John Emmet Tracy and Sierra Pitkin.
The movie opened in limited UK theaters a week ago, and when it comes to US release date – make sure you bookmark September 2013 somewhere.
