Universal Pictures Australis has released a new trailer for “Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax,” a tale of environmental conservation which is being developed by Illumination Entertainment (Despicable Me, Hop)
The 3D-CGI feature Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax is an adaptation of Dr. Seuss’ classic tale of a forest creature who shares the enduring power of hope. The animated adventure follows the journey of a boy as he searches for the one thing that will enable him to win the affection of the girl of his dreams. To find it he must discover the story of the Lorax, the grumpy yet charming creature who fights to protect his world.
The voice cast includes Zac Efron as Ted, Taylor Swift as Audrey, Danny DeVito as Lorax, Ed Helms as greedy Once-Ler, Ed Helms, , Rob Riggle and Betty White.
Directed by Chris Renaud (Despicable Me) and Kyle Balda (animator on A Bug’s Life, Toy Story 2 and Monsters. Inc.), Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax is in theaters in Real Tree-D and IMAX, March 2nd, 2012.
