Another psycho-thriller is coming, and it's the project with some impresiive cast, indeed!
Remember this title – Red Lights, from director Rodrigo Cortés (Buried), that already stars Sigourney Weaver, Robert De Niro and Cillian Murphy.
Today we're here to add Elizabeth Olsen, Silent House star, 21-year-old kid sister of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, to the project as well!
Red Lights, Weaver is playing a psychology professor whose involvement in the study of paranormal activity leads her to investigate a famous psychic, played by Robert De Niro.
Olsen is playing one of the students of Weaver, while Murphy will play her love interest.
However, the romantic scenes of Lizzie Olsen and Murphy aren't the focus of the story.
Shooting begins in February, with seven weeks in Spain to be followed by two in Canada.
Adrian Guerra of Barcelona's Versus Entertainment, which also backed Buried, is producing together with Cortes.
Guerra said that: Red Lights follows the steps of Buried in allowing us to make a highly commercial, bold and compelling film with great production values and Hollywood stars but keeping the creative control from Spain.”
