The Fallout is a new TV series set to premiere on April 11, 2024, on Prime Video. The show is based on the popular video game franchise of the same name and is set in a post-apocalyptic Los Angeles brought about by nuclear decimation. Citizens must live in underground bunkers to protect themselves from radiation, mutants, and bandits. The series is executive produced by Todd Howard, Lisa Joy, and Jonathan Nolan, with the latter two also serving as showrunners. The cast includes Walton Goggins, Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Moisés Arias, Kyle MacLachlan, Sarita Choudhury, Michael Emerson, Leslie Uggams, Frances Turner, Dave Register, Zach Cherry, Johnny Pemberton, Rodrigo Luzzi, Annabel O'Hagan, and Xelia Mendes-Jones. Filming began in July 2022 in New Jersey, New York, Utah, and Namibia. Ramin Djawadi composed the score, inspired by Inon Zur's Fallout series compositions.
