Fantastic Concept Art From THE CROW Reboot Revealed
Illustrators – got to love them! Things have changed from the first time we heard about The Crow reboot, but I guess we're all still interested in this project. And although director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo and Bradley Cooper are no longer attached to the whole thing, we finally have a stack of concept art from the production before they both left the project.
Concept art comes from illustrator Diego Latorre, who worked on this project and now you're able to see what Eric Draven might have looked like in Relativity's reboot. Yes, I'm one of those people who hate the fact that The Crow is getting a reboot and even that Cooper had previously been in negotiations to reprise the late Brandon Lee's iconic gothic character Eric Draven. But I have to admit this looks great. Latorre has previously worked on Marvel's Hulk, Dante's Inferno, Fringe and Batman Europa with DC Comics, so no wonder this looks promising.
Have no idea what will happen with this project at the end, but I'm sure you also remember that the whole idea of a remake originally started back in October 2010, from director Stephen Norrington who offered the leading role to Mark Wahlberg.
The movie is based on James O'Barr's legendary comic of the same name, and great Brandon Lee was the first to play Draven in Dimension/Miramax's 1994 The Crow.
Let us know what you think about this concept art and as usual, with every new info about this project we'll be back! [source: STYD]
