Vin Diesel has unveiled the official trailer for Fast and Furious 5: Fast Five on his Facebook page and Universal has also released a new batch of photos for the movie.
Synopsis: Vin Diesel and Paul Walker lead a reunion of returning all-stars from every chapter of the explosive franchise built on speed in “Fast Five.” In this installment, former cop Brian O’Conner (Walker) partners with ex-con Dom Toretto (Diesel) on the opposite side of the law. Dwayne Johnson joins returning favorites Jordana Brewster, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Tyrese Gibson, Sung Kang, Gal Gadot, Matt Schulze, Tego Calderon and Don Omar for this ultimate high-stakes race.
Since Brian and Mia Toretto (Brewster) broke Dom out of custody, they’ve blown across many borders to elude authorities. Now backed into a corner in Rio de Janeiro, they must pull one last job in order to gain their freedom. As they assemble their elite team of top racers, the unlikely allies know their only shot of getting out for good means confronting the corrupt businessman who wants them dead. But he’s not the only one on their tail.
Hard-nosed federal agent Luke Hobbs (Johnson) never misses his target. When he is assigned to track down Dom and Brian, he and his strike team launch an all-out assault to capture them. But as his men tear through Brazil, Hobbs learns he can’t separate the good guys from the bad. Now, he must rely on his instincts to corner his prey… before someone else runs them down first.
The movie is being directed by Justin Lin (Fast and Furious, The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift).
Fast Five (Fast and Furious 5) is scheduled to hit theaters on April 29, 2011.

I have actually enjoyed every Fast & Furious movie. The movies don’t take themselves too seriously and they’re always loads of fun to watch.
Not bad at all. It looks surprising watchable.
Four films into the franchise already, you’d think a fifth would be looking tired and stale, and beginning to shows of self-parody. But this looks quite solid. Compared to yesterday’s flat Pirates of the Caribbean trailer, this has a lot more energy going for it.

Fast and the furios series are the most favorite films of all films. I’m never going to change this series with any other film. Now I’m waiting for fast five. As it seems it is the best one cause they are pulling another job this time with many actors of the other series. well done. Hope fast and furios series will still come out always.

All of the movies in the series have been good, it could have been better if all actors were in every movie. it’s good to see they put their ego’s aside to do another one together, hopefully they can brainstorm more ideas to keep the franchise rolling but they have to keep doing it together and stop demanding so much money per film stay humble..

Liked the first one and Tokyo drift was sik! And the part 4 was good, but the 2fast2furious was dumb! Tyrease and Luda could not act! And hopefully they won’t make the new movie make it look lame, but I will be waiting for it to come out next year,

Dwayne Johnson.. that name on the poster already gives me the chills :). Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson have a fight in this that will knock you all on your ass.
1st and 4th were by the best of the 4 made but i’d actually have to go with the 4th being the best this one looks even better though
I cannot wait for fast and furious 5 to hit the big screen . I just love that type of action. Also hope they run more american made cars in this installment.
