Lionsgate's Summit Entertainment has unveiled the first official look at the two action stars,
Sylvester Stallone and
Arnold Schwarzenegger from
The Tomb thriller.
Mikael Håfström‘s prison-break flick follows Ray Breslin (Stallone) who is the world's foremost authority on structural security; he's analyzed every high security prison and has gained a vast array of survival skills, but all Ray's ingenuity and knowledge are about to be put to work in the most challenging test he's ever faced – escaping from the master prison of his own protocols.
Schwarzenegger plays a complex inmate, Emil Rottmayer with a heart of gold who fights to keep the prisoners from losing their humanity in their darkest hour as they struggle together to stay alive.
The upcoming action/sci-fi thriller, The Tomb co-stars
Jim Caviezel as the prison warden villain,
Vincent D'Onofrio in the role of the deputy director of the Prisons Bureau who convinces Sly to do one last job, and
Amy Ryan as Sly's love interest, along with
Sam Neill, Faran Tahir, 50 Cent, and the irresistible
Vinnie Jones.
The cast is descent enough and it sounds intriguing, so we'll see. No release date has been set for this one yet.
Meanwhile, The Expendables 2 opens this weekend and Sly and Arnie are currently doing the rounds.
