The first international trailer for the upcoming drama Day of the Falcon (Black Gold) has hit the Web.
Starring Antonio Banderas, Mark Strong, Frieda Pinto and Tahar Rahim, the film centers on a young Arab prince torn between allegiance to his conservative father and modern, liberal father-in-law as well as the rivalry between two Emirs in Arabia.
The film is directed by Jean-Jacques Annaud (Seven Years in Tibet, Enemy at the Gates) from a script by Menno Meyjes (Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, The Siege).
Day of the Falcon (aka “Or noir”) will be released to theaters on December 23rd, 2011.
