The highly anticipated return of Outlander is almost here, and fans have a lot to look forward to. STARZ has released several first-look photos from the second half of Season 7, marking a thrilling return to Scotland for the first time since the third season. Alongside this, STARZ has also shared an early glimpse of the prequel series Outlander: Blood of My Blood, revealing key moments from the lives of Claire's parents in WWI-era England and Jamie's parents in 18th-century Scottish Highlands.

Outlander Season 7 Part 2: What to Expect

Outlander Season 7 Part 2 will premiere on Friday, November 22, with new episodes dropping weekly on Fridays at midnight ET on the STARZ app, all STARZ streaming, and on-demand platforms. For those watching on linear TV, episodes will debut at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on STARZ in the U.S. This second half of the season promises to be packed with emotional and dramatic moments as Claire (Caitríona Balfe), Jamie (Sam Heughan), and Young Ian (John Bell) return to Scotland amidst the turmoil of the Revolutionary War. They are faced with the difficult choice between standing by those they love and fighting for the land they now call home.

Meanwhile, Roger (Richard Rankin) and Brianna (Sophie Skelton) must confront new threats across time, battling forces that could tear their family apart. As loyalties shift and painful secrets come to light, the resilience of Jamie and Claire's marriage will be tested like never before. The remaining episodes are set to explore these intense dynamics, and the journey back to their roots in Scotland adds a nostalgic touch for long-time fans.

A Glimpse into Blood of My Blood

The prequel series, Outlander: Blood of My Blood, dives into the origins of the beloved characters by exploring the lives and relationships of Claire's parents, Julia Moriston (Hermione Corfield) and Henry Beauchamp (Jeremy Irvine), and Jamie's parents, Ellen MacKenzie (Harriet Slater) and Brian Fraser (Jamie Roy). Set in two different time periods, this series will present parallel love stories that shaped the futures of Claire and Jamie. The 10-episode first season is currently in production in Scotland and is slated to premiere in 2025.

Meet the Cast and Crew

Returning to the screen alongside Balfe, Heughan, Skelton, Rankin, and Bell are David Berry as Lord John Grey, Charles Vandervaart as William Ransom, Izzy Meikle-Small as Rachel Hunter, and Joey Phillips as Denzell Hunter. The series continues to be a collaborative effort with Matthew B. Roberts serving as showrunner and executive producer. Ronald D. Moore, Maril Davis, Jim Kohlberg, Toni Graphia, Luke Schelhaas, Andy Harries, Caitríona Balfe, and Sam Heughan also contribute as executive producers.

Behind the Scenes

Outlander is produced by Tall Ship Productions, Left Bank Pictures, Story Mining & Supply Company, and Sony Pictures Television. The upcoming prequel Blood of My Blood will also be produced by Tall Ship Productions and Story Mining & Supply Company, ensuring a seamless transition in quality and storytelling between the two series.

Legacy of Outlander

The Outlander television series, inspired by Diana Gabaldon's international best-selling books, has sold an estimated 50 million copies worldwide. The series has captivated audiences globally, blending elements of history, science fiction, romance, and adventure into one compelling narrative. With nine books gracing the New York Times best-seller list, the show's success is a testament to its rich storytelling and beloved characters.
