Summit Entertainment has released the first trailer for their 3D revision of The Three Musketeers.
This latest adaptation of the Alexandre Dumas classic tale stars Christoph Waltz as Cardinal Richelieu, Orlando Bloom as the Duke of Buckingham; Matthew MacFadyen, Ray Stevenson and Luke Evans as Athos, Porthos and Aramis, respectively; and also Milla Jovovich as M'lady De Winter. Paul W.S. Anderson sat at the director's chair for this 3D production, based on a screenplay by Andrew Davies and Alex Litvalk.
The hot-headed young D'Artagnan (Lerman) along with three formerly legendary but now down on their luck Musketeers (Macfadyen, Stevenson, Evans) must unite and prevent a beautiful double agent and her villainous employer from seizing the French throne and engulfing Europe in war.
