Summit Entertainment has finally released the first trailer for the action film, Escape Plan – formerly titled The Tomb – with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone united to star in their first full feature film together.
Directed by Mikael Håfström (1408, Shanghai) and penned by Miles Chapman (Road House 2: Last Call), the trailer makes the film look like an old-school actioner, and the footage sounds it might live up to that concept.

Escape Plan also stars Jim Caviezel, Curtis ‘50 Cent‘ Jackson, Vinnie Jones, Vincent D’Onofrio, and Amy Ryan. The film opens on September 27th, 2013.

Escape Plan follows Ray Breslin (Stallone) who is the world’s foremost authority on structural security. He’s analyzed every high security prison and has gained a vast array of survival skills. Schwarzenegger, in the role of Church, plays a complex inmate with multiple shades of grey. He’s the guy who fights to keep the prisoners from losing their humanity in their darkest hour as they struggle together to stay alive.
