From A24 Films comes the first teaser trailer for a Mad Max-esque existential western The Rover, starring Robert Pattinson and Guy Pearce.
The slow-burn thriller from Animal Kingdom director David Michôd set in the Australian desert in a dangerous and damaged near future beset by financial collapse, and follows a loner in the Australian Outback who trudges across desert to locate his stolen car and secure the mysterious cargo found inside.
Based on a story conceived by Michôd and Joel Edgerton, the post-apocalyptic flick co-stars Scoot McNairy, David Field, Anthony Hayes, Gillian Jones and Susan Prior.
The Rover will be released this summer.
