I can get us back to where we were, I promise… Or even better – I want my life back! You’ll see all that in the first trailer for Steven Soderbergh‘s latest Side Effects. Guess that this psychological thriller will help us all to understand that beneath the desire, behind the truth – no secret is safe. Don’t know about that, but one thing is for sure, Rooney Mara definitely rocks in this one!
Of course, it’s not all about Mara, the rest of the cast is awesome as well. Channing Tatum, Jude Law, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Vinessa Shaw and Kerry O’Malley also star in Side Effects which is set to open on February 8th, 2013.
Soderbergh directs the movie from a script written by Scott Z. Burns, and as you already know this psycho-story is set in the world of the pharmaceutical industry. It follows Mara as troubled woman who is coping with the imminent release of her husband (Tatum) from jail, and begins to take a new prescription drug with unforeseen consequences.

As you see, this trailer looks like mess. Mara kills someone? Law is her psychiatrist and he wants his life back? Zeta-Jones also stars but we see her… where?
If this is some kind of teaser trailer – then we’re cool with it. After all, it’s a psychological thriller, we expect them all to act crazy, right?
