Produced by Judd Apatow (Bridesmaids, Knocked Up, The 40 Year Old Virgin), directed by Nicholas Stoller (Forgetting Sarah Marshall), and written by Stoller and Jason Segel (How I Met Your Mother and The Muppets), the film stars Jason Segel (Tom) and Emily Blunt (Violet) as an engaged couple whose way to the altar is delayed initially by a professional opportunity (at the University of Michigan) that Violet can't pass up.
Joining Segel and Blunt in the cast ensemble are Alison Brie, Rhys Ifans, Chris Pratt and Lauren Weedman.
Universal's The-Five Year Engagement opens April 27th, 2012.
