Ginnifer Goodwin has signed on to star in romantic movie “Something Borrowed” from Alcon Entertainment-based 2S Films.
“Something Borrowed” is based on Emily Giffin‘s debut novel of the same name.
Luke Greenfield (“The Girl Next Door”) is directing from a script by Jennie Urman (“Lipstick Jungle”).
Goodwin will play a Manhattan attorney who becomes involved with her best friend’s fiance following her 30th birthday.
She was last seen in A Single Man and He’s Just Not That Into You.
Goodwin’s in her fourth season of HBO’s “Big Love” and just finished filming “Ramona and Beezus” alongside Selena Gomez and Josh Duhamel for Fox.
“Something Borrowed” is being fast-tracked for a shoot in the spring and summer.
