We already shared the official
trailer and the very first
footage from
Alfonso Cuarón‘s upcoming
Gravity, now it's time to take another look at
Sandra Bullock and
George Clooney. Nothing spectacular, just two astronauts drifting alone in orbit. But head inside to check them out & as usual – let us know what you think!
Alfonso Cuarón directs this sci-fi thriller from a script he co-wrote with his son
Jonás Cuarón, which revolves around (the above mentioned) astronauts who attempt to return to Earth after debris crashes into their space shuttle, leaving them drifting alone in orbit.

In other words, Bullock plays Dr. Ryan Stone, a medical engineer on her first shuttle mission, while Clooney stars as veteran astronaut Matt Kowalsky in command of his last flight before retiring.
The real drama starts when:
…the shuttle is destroyed, leaving Stone and Kowalsky completely alone–tethered to nothing but each other and spiraling out into the blackness. The deafening silence tells them they have lost any link to Earth, and any chance for rescue. As fear turns to panic, every gulp of air eats away at what little oxygen is left. But the only way home may be to go further out into the terrifying expanse of space.

In case you forgot,
Gravity is set to open the 70th Venice International Film Festival in August 2013, before being released on October 4th, 2013.
Guess we'll soon have more updates to share, make sure you stay tuned!
