HEAVEN IS FOR REAL Movie Trailer

Heaven is for Real
Heaven is for Real Sony has premiered the trailer for the inspirational drama Heaven is for Real, the true story of 4-year-old son of a small town Nebraska pastor, Colton Burpo, who during emergency surgery slips from consciousness and enters heaven. Another movie with a religious hook, but with more orthodox approach than Darren Aronofosky’s Noah was scripted by Chris Parker and based on New York Times best-selling Christian book by Nebraska’s small-town pastor Todd Burpo in collaboration with Lynn Vincent. This family drama about a young boy who dies and meets God is directed by Randall Wallace and stars Kelly Reilly, Greg Kinnear, Jacob Vargas, Ali Tataryn, Nancy Sorel, Connor Corum, Mike Mohrhardt, Lane Styles. Wallace earlier worked with Mel Gibson on Braveheart (1995) and We Were Soldiers (2002). Kinnear plays Todd Burpo and  Reilly plays Sonja Burpo, the real-life couple whose son Colton (newcomer Corum) claims to have visited Heaven during a near death experience. Colton recounts the details of his amazing journey with childlike innocence and speaks impossible-to-know details about things that happened before his birth . Todd and his family are then challenged to examine the meaning from this remarkable event as well as their own faith in the process. Heaven is for Real is scheduled for release Easter weekend on April 16th, 2014. You can watch a video below and believe that there’s a higher Power above. Heaven_is_for_Real_Poster
